At Variexa, our training is adapted and expanded to the international standard ISO 13053:2016. This ISO standard describes a guide for the business improvement methodology known as Six Sigma. The methodology comprises 28 specific steps across five phases: define, measure, analyze, improve and control (DMAIC).
This ISO 13053 standard recommends the preferred practice or best practice for each of the phases of the DMAIC methodology used during the execution of a Six Sigma project. It also recommends how Six Sigma projects should be managed and describes the roles, experience, and training of personnel involved in such projects. It is applicable to organizations that use manufacturing processes, as well as transactional and service processes.
